I returned this past weekend after serving as Project Leader for Johnson Ferry Baptist Church’s Spring Mission to Mexico. I am still reflecting on the blessing of God during this trip.
I was given the God-size opportuntiy of leading almost 400 participants to reach out to Matamoros. Here is just a brief review of God’s favor upon us:
* 3 Colonias touched with the tabngible love of JESUS
* 3 Pastors were partenered with to share JESUS with their church members
*
21 local familes received newly constructed houses
* 301 new brothers and sisters were added to the Family of God
* Jesus was lifted up over Matamoros in praise & worship!
And on top of all of this, God showed me in a dream, before the mission started, that individuals would come to me and ask me to pray for them. During the mission week, God led 9 people to ask me how they could become fully-alive followers of JESUS. I was humbled to see adults and youth awakened to their true identity in JESUS.
THE LORD IS GOOD AND HIS MERCY ENDURES FOREVER!
