ON MISSION WITH GOD in Butler, PA and ...

Missions Trips

Opportunities for local and oversea missions teams are a part of our youth ministry.  It is

amazing what God will do with just one heart that is set toward Him and available to be

used.  In 2006, missions trips to Belize, Central America and New Orleans, LA were just

two of the opportunities the youth at Calvary had to show God's love.

"...not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit..."

Zech. 4:6

I leave tomorrow (Friday, July 6) to meet the Mission Team from Calvary Chapel of Central Bucks for our mission together in Butler, PA.  I am praying that the scripture verse above found on their website, (Zech. 4:6), will become the guiding theme for this mission.

Butler, PA is a subburb of Pittsburg, PA about 50+ miles NE of the city.  The area is struggling with great economic difficluty along with many teen and drug problems.  We are networking with a local ministry in Butler that seeks to minister to the families, teens and community through a Ministry

 Center called "The Net".

Please be in prayer for the following:

- God's Holy Spirit to lead in everything that we do

- Wisdom & Discernment to follow God's path

- Creative ways to minister to the needs of the community

- Families to be united, teens lives to be awakened to their Divine Destiny, and children to be touched by the VBS and puppets.

- and most of all ... GOD'S KINGDM TO BE EXPANDED & GOD'S NAME TO BE EXALTED!
