In an effort to keep in touch with my supporters, friends and family; I am blogging these words.
God is showing Himself mighty on my behalf in 2009. On the 21st day of a fast that I committed to, God broke through with a promotion for me. I was asked by my leaders at AIM to serve in a larger capacity to help manage and mentor the Field Represetatives of the Short-Term Missions Mobilization Team. I am humbled to have this privilege and excited for the opportunity to serve God in a greater way.
Together, we are seeing the move of God all across this land and globe. God is extending His call to all to come to Him. He has given AIM a unique place of partnering with local churches to serve the body of Christ by mobilizing their people to hear and follow God … reach our world.
The “…” is the key! We are seeking to teach each participant that it is not about what we can do for God but what He seeks to do through us as surrendered vessels. It is much better to do what God is blessing instead of asking God to bless what we are doing.
I beleive this is the difference between works of “wood, hay and stuble verses works of gold, silver and precious metal”. Which one would you rather have in the end?
I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your prayers, financial support and most of all your trust in me. Together, we are making an investment into eternity by partnering in the here and now.
