Monday, February 9th was the 40th Day of 2009.  Why am I bringing your attention to this?

The number 40 in the Bible stands for a time of testing and a period of preparation.  There are significant events in the Bible that are marked with the number 40 so as to get our attention.  Which ones is God bring to your mind, right now?

Yesterday on the 41st Day of 2009, the Spirit of the LORD highlighted Joshua 1:9…

“Have I not commanded you?
Be strong and courageous!
Do not tremble or be dismayed,
for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.

The word “dismayed” is a very interested word for the times we are now living in.  Take a look below at the meaning of the word:

dis·may

1. To destroy the courage or resolution of by exciting dread or apprehension.
2. To cause to lose enthusiasm; disillusion:
3. To upset or alarm.

dismay

Interesting definitions, aren’t they?  If you can hear the Voice of the LORD, it is clear that the enemy of our God, the devil, has sent a spirit of fear into our land.  Many of the world and the church are listening to the whispers of his lies.

It is time that the redeemed of the LORD RISE UP and listen only to the Voice of Truth.  For greater is He that is within you than he that is is the world!  What has the LORD used the first days of this year to teach you, test you and prepare you?

I propose we have been tested and now our time of preparation is over.  It is now tiem to put into practice what the LORD has been showing us.  It’s now crossing over time!  It’s time to go in and take possession of the promise!

BE STRONG & VERY COURAGEOUS!!!
