I never saw the 1995 movie titled, "Dead Man Walking." Yet, I think it is a great title for the Christian Life. You see, when you accept JESUS as your LORD and Savior, you are dead. There is an exchange at that moment that happens in your life. The Apostle Paul said it this way in 1 Corinthains 6:17 and Galatians 2:20,

"... he who unites himself with the LORD is one with Him in spirit."

"Christ lives in me. The life you see me living is not "mine," (The Message - Gal. 2:20)

I want to propose to you that the greatest funeral you can attend is your own. The moment you receive JESUS as your LORD and Savior, you go from death to life in Christ in all of His abundance. Jesus said in John 10:10, "...I have come that you MIGHT have life to the fullest/in abundance." The Abundant Life in Christ is a choice.

Today, choose life by dying to self!
